Samsung has unveiled three innovative refrigerators designed to redefine smart living for Indian households. These new models feature Samsung’s cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence-powered Inverter Compressor, promising exceptional performance and energy efficiency.
At the heart of these revolutionary refrigerators is the AI Inverter Compressor, which marks a significant leap from Samsung’s first compressor introduced 27 years ago. This eighth-generation marvel not only optimizes motor and energy efficiency but also significantly reduces electricity costs. With a segment-leading 20-year warranty, it ensures long-lasting performance and peace of mind for consumers.
The new lineup includes three distinct models: the 809L 4-Door Flex French Door Bespoke Family Hub™ Refrigerator in a sleek Clean Charcoal + Stainless Steel finish, and two 650L 4-Door Convertible French Door models in elegant Clean White glass and sophisticated Black Caviar steel.

One of the standout features of the AI Inverter Compressor is its quiet operation, maintaining noise levels below 35 dB/A, akin to the tranquility of a serene library. Unlike traditional fixed-speed compressors, this advanced technology adapts to minor temperature fluctuations, optimizing cooling and minimizing energy usage by adjusting motor speed based on various factors like surrounding temperature and door activity.
The 809L Family Hub™ AI Refrigerator boasts an impressive 80 cm Family Hub™ screen with the innovative ‘AI Vision Inside’ feature. This allows users to effortlessly manage their food inventory through internal cameras that recognize 33 food items, while AI technology provides personalized recipe suggestions. The 650L Convertible French Door AI refrigerators come equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling users to remotely monitor and adjust settings.
To further enhance the energy efficiency and durability of the AI Inverter Compressor, Samsung has continuously refined the manufacturing process of its internal components. As a result, the AI Inverter Compressor achieves over 95 per cent motor efficiency, with a more than 10 per cent increase in energy efficiency in the typical operating range of 950-1,450rpm. Additionally, the new compressor’s motor boasts over four times the leveraged inertia compared to conventional models.
