Carrier Global has announced plans to invest about Rs 1,000 crore in a new air-conditioning manufacturing facility at Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
The expansion will strengthen the region’s status as a major HVAC production hub in India, where nearly 40 per cent of the country’s ACs are manufactured. The move is expected to boost local manufacturing of cooling and ventilation equipment and support exports.
